Hammond’s Historic Columbia Theatre will host the exclusive premiere of The Road Home, a biographical documentary chronicling Adams’ remarkable journey in BMX Flatland. Directed and produced by Billy Henrickle and shot by Blu Dot Productions, the film captures Adams’ flatland legacy and celebrates what matters the most in life - his supporters, friends, family, and his hometown of Hammond, Louisiana. This feature contains present-day and home-video footage from the early 1990s documenting the earliest days of Adams’ career while showcasing Tangipahoa landmarks. With nearly 800 seats available, Adams’ goal is to be the first to sell out the Columbia Theatre.
Guests will be greeted at the venue with a red-carpet experience, complete with photographers, event-sponsored photo backdrops, and a searchlight. The lobby will feature a 27-panel photo series documenting Adams’ career, as well as a BMX bike display and The Road Home book pre-sale sign up. Following the screening, Terry Adams and his team will share insights into the making of the film during a Q&A session on stage.
Tickets are $15 each and sales open in July 2025. Ticket purchase admits one (1) to The Road Home Documentary Premiere at the Columbia Theatre and an invitation to the After Party at Gnarly Barley.

“I’m beyond excited for the world premiere of my documentary, The Road Home, to take place right here in my hometown of Hammond. To have riders from all over the world coming together—not just to watch my life story unfold on the big screen, but to ride and share a session with me on the same day—is something truly special. I can’t wait to experience that energy, that love, and that community all in one place. September 20th can’t come soon enough.”
