Downtown Hammond at participating downtown businesses
Get your holiday shopping done this season with our Holiday Sip & Shop! Explore what our retail businesses have to offer while you sip on special holiday beverages (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic—Must be 21+ to sample at locations with alcoholic beverages)—check out our list of sips below!

Buy a $10 ticket to participate & receive an exclusive complimentary holiday tote bag to use while you shop. Tickets will be available to purchase onsite! Participants will receive a map of participating retailers & Starry Saturday promotions and a punch card. All returned punch cards will be entered to win a free raffle basket of goodies from our downtown businesses!

Check-In Instructions: You may check in starting at 9:30AM on Saturday, November 23rd in Railroad Park (106 NW Railroad Ave, Hammond, LA). Please have your order number and ID (card preferred) with you to verify purchase and age. Those 21+ will receive a wrist band to sample alcoholic beverages.

2-4pm | Tangi School System Magnet Holiday Showcase
Railroad Park
14 schools from the Tangi School System will be in the park with some fun activities!
Schools include: Woodland Park Magnet School, Amite Elementary Magnet School, Kentwood High Magnet School, Hammond Eastside Lower, Hammond Eastside Upper, Independence Leadership Academy, Greenville Park Leadership Academy, OW Dillon Leadership Academy, Amite Westside Middle Magnet School, Amite High Magnet School, Hammond Westside Montessori School, Roseland Montessori School, TPSS Magnet Department, and Hammond High Magnet.

4-6pm | Train Rides & Selfies with Santa
Cate Square Park
Train rides around downtown (provided by Star Equipment) will start at Cate Square Park. Tickets will be sold onsite for $5 (ages 2 and under are free)—first come, first serve. Santa will also be present in the park for selfies! The Hammond Rotary will also be providing activities and concessions starting at 4pm!

6-8pm | Movie Night Under the Stars

To finish off the day, the Hammond Rotary will be providing a Movie Night Under the Stars. Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends and join us for a showing of "The Santa Clause!"
