celebrating the accomplishments of the first director of the ddd

Join us on March 7th at 2 PM in Railroad Park as we dedicate the stage to Marguerite Walter, the first Director of the Downtown Development District. The newly named Marguerite Walter Stage honors her incredible contributions to Downtown Hammond, most notably the restoration of the Columbia Theatre, and the lasting impact she made on our community. We will also be joined by Marguerite Walter herself for this special occasion. This dedication is a tribute from the many residents whose lives were touched by her work and passion. We hope to see you there as we celebrate her legacy!
